A week ago today, my friend and ex-girlfriend Crystal Fiorentino was in a car accident that nearly took her life. Driving on her way to work, she struck a tree by the side of the road. She sustained severe head trauma and, I'm told by her sister, she has suffered brain damage to both hemispheres of her brain. Due to excess swelling, they had to undertake two surgeries to remove parts of her skull to relieve pressure on her brain.

She has been in a coma for a week.

Well, my car finally got to the point where maintaining it was more expensive than leasing a new one.

I decided for my next car I wanted something a little bit more aggressive, a little bit more powerful, and a lot less "family"-ish. The old car was a Taurus, and this time around, I decided on a 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS.

Not this past weekend but the weekend before, I placed 21st at the North American Continental Championship out at GenCon in Indianapolis.

I placed 10th at DMF Boston over the weekend. Won a $100 gift card to Best Buy which I already spent on a new 26" HDTV for the bedroom. I gotta feelin' that WoW may become my next big thing.

Well, let me just say that living with other people has been a huge adjustment.

I'm looking forward to going to a big card tournament in Boston in a week and a half with my teammates. No idea what we're going to be playing yet, but it should be a fun trip nevertheless.

I still need to book my ticket for Indianapolis, too. I should probably get on that...
